CLASSROOMS ACROSS CULTURES - Training classes at Shuhada School in Bamiyan

The men teachers in Bamiyan are mostly students from the local technical college.  The women teachers are teenagers who go to high school in the morning, and teach younger children in the afternoon. Camilla’s science lessons were so engaging that the school principal came and took diligent notes, and the school janitor came to watch. On the day after the training classes finished, the young women invited us all back to watch them put their new teaching skills into practice
